Truck Dash

Terms of use

Last updated: 26 September 2026

Truck Dash is a free, fan-made companion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, run by one person. These terms cover the parts we host: this website, the dashboard, the telemetry relay, the map data and, if you create one, your account.

By using Truck Dash you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use it.

The client you download is open source under the MIT licence, and that licence governs the code itself. These terms are about the service, which the licence does not cover.

No warranty

Truck Dash is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. It reads what the game reports and shows it back to you. It can be wrong, out of date, or unavailable: the speed limit shown may not match the road, the route may not match the one the game would pick, and the servers can go down without notice.

Do not rely on it for anything outside the game. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using it.

It can change or stop

This is a free project maintained in someone's spare time. Features can change or be removed, and the hosted parts can be discontinued. If accounts are ever shut down, we will say so in advance where we reasonably can, and the account page lets you download your data at any time in the meantime.

Accounts

What you put in

Some of what you write is visible to other people: your username today, and company and profile details later on. For anything you put in:

You keep whatever rights you have in what you write. By putting it in, you allow us to store and display it where the app needs to, such as on a public profile you chose to make public.

We can rename or remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or delete an account that keeps breaking them. If it is a judgement call rather than something clear-cut, we will tell you why.

The game, and SCS Software

Truck Dash is an independent fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SCS Software. Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator and related names and images belong to their owners.

You need your own copy of the game; Truck Dash does not provide one or give access to one. Do not use Truck Dash to break the game's own terms or those of any other service it connects to.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, this page and the date at the top change with them. For anything significant, we will also say so in the app or on the Truck Dash Discord.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, where the project is run. If you use Truck Dash as a consumer somewhere else, the mandatory protections of your own country still apply to you; nothing here takes those away.
